Next Pushkar camel fair 2018 dates are 15, November 2018 - 23, November 2018. The dates of the Pushkar Camel Fair are linked to the Hindu lunar calendar. The Fair has two components: camel trading and religious rituals. The Pushkar Fair, also known as the Pushkar Camel Fair, or Pushkar Mela, is a colorful and vibrant display of unique exhibitions, exciting competitions and fascinating events. Extending to seven days, this annual camel and livestock fair, held in the town of Pushkar between the months of October and November, draws a large number of crowds. Besides, this fair is renowned for being one of the world’s largest cattle fairs.
Day 1: Arrive Delhi:
On arrival our representative will meet and greet you at airport followed by transfer to your pre booked hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Delhi - Agra:
Morning after breakfast at hotel. Leave for half day sightseeing of Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid the biggest mosque in Asia, enjoy rickshaw ride in narrow lanes of old Delhi, Raj Ghat the cremation place of Mahatma Gandhi. Later proceed to Agra. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Agra - Jaipur:
Morning visit to the world famous Taj Mahal built in the 16th century by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. After breakfast at the hotel visit to the Agra Fort. Later continue drive to Jaipur en route visit the 15th century deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. After we proceed to Jaipur. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Jaipur:
Morning after breakfast leave to explore Jaipur city. Visit to Amer fort. Enjoy Elephant ride. Later visit City Palace, Palace of Winds, Palace on Water and Observatory. Evening free to explore bazaar for shopping handicrafts. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Jaipur-Pushkar:
Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Pushkar by Deluxe Bus. On arrival checkin at Deluxe Swiss cottage tents on full board basis (all meals inclusive). You will participate in famous pushkar cattle fair, which will start from 15 November and end on 23 November, 2018. Overnight stay in Tented Camp.
Day 6: Pushkar:
Enjoy the Pushkar Fair - The largest cattle fairs in the world. Pushkar is Rajasthan under one roof, a complete exhibition of its culture. Day 7: Pushkar:
Enjoy the Pushkar Fair. It is an occasion for Hindu pilgrims to converge for a holy dip in the sacred Pushkar Lake to "wash away the sins of a lifetime" and pay obeisance at the ONLY Brahma temple in the world. Pushkar brings alive the rich tradition of Rajasthan enhancing the glory of the golden sand.
Day 8: Pushkar-Jodhpur
After breakfast depart for Jodhpur by Deluxe bus. Enroute visit Ranakpur Jain temples. On arrival in Jodhpur checkin at hotel . Afternoon half-day city tour visit Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada museum.
Day 9: Jodhpur-Jaipur:
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Jaipur by Deluxe bus and checkin at hotel . Evening free for self activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Jaipur-Delhi:
Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Delhi by Deluxe bus and on arrival checkin at hotel . Evening free for self activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11: Delhi:
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for half-day city tour of Old Delhi with guide with guide visiting Red fort, Jama Mosque and Rajghat. Afternoon free for last minute shopping. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: Delhi Depart:
Transfer to airport to connect flight back to home.
